A Cable Car Ride in the Rain with a Sushi Chaser

Even the most jaded teenager will love San Francisco and a ride on one of the famous cable cars. After all what kid doesn't like being on a ride especially one that's urban and goes up and down the hilly streets of San Francisco?
Ok, so it started to rain and our teen had spent nearly an hour straightening her hair. I had insisted on sitting outside of the cable car so not only was she getting wet but when some cute guys jumped on and stood on the ledge in front of her, she was mortified. "I hate you," she whispered into my ear. Luckily, the rain stopped and the sun came out as it usually does in San Francisco. We hopped off the cable car and decided she could pick our dinner destination.
Her choice: a fabulous sushi dinner in the lobby of an upscale hotel with a view of the Oakland Bay Bridge.
