Busch Gardens Tampa, FL

Busch Gardens Tampa is a favorite trip for both the kids and big kids. With anything you can imagine from sea life to safari's, culture from Egypt to India, and rides from bumper cars to roller coasters.

I recently made a trip there with my family that consists of myself, my husband, my son and his best friend. The boys are 7 and full of energy and excitement every time we go. I have made it a point to start early in the day when we go.

Because Busch Gardens is in Florida, the afternoons can get pretty hot. We usually go to Safari Africa and do all of the animal exhibits first and hit the roller coasters in between. If we find it too hot we find indoor amusements like the magic carpet ride or sitting down for the aquatic show.

The end of the day the boys are usually whooped from the heat and need a pick me up. They have added a really cool water section of the park that we can cool off with. Pipes spit out water from the sides and the ground and up above. It's nice to cool off. Then we dry off with one last relaxing ride and the boys are passed out cold on the drive home. A fun day and now a nice evening of relaxing with the family!
