Gate Bridge, the Bay Bridge, and the Marin Headlands.
We traveled to the Tower as a part of our 2007 trip to San Francisco. We decided to walk to the Tower. It is a steep walk, but not too bad. We decided to tour the Tower for the views of the city from the top. The tower is 210 feet tall, but it sits on one of the highest point in the city - close to the bay.
There is an admission charge to take the elevator to the observation deck.
After
walking up to the tower, we took a short breather (as if we were not already
breathing hard. The views from the city are amazing simply from the top of
Telegraph Hill - even before going to the top of Coit... as seen in the
photo to the left. The beauty of San Francisco is amazing - take the time
to enjoy your family time together here by just taking in the view....
The additional photos were taken from the top of the tower. The photos appear to have a bluish film over them because there was plexiglass over the tower openings due to the high winds coming in from the bay.
