Disney Magic Kingdom: Mad Tea Party

At the Disney Magic Kingdom Mad Tea Party, you will pour yourself into one of 18 vibrantly colored, oversized tea cups and feel like you've entered Wonderland for a colorful, musical party ride that is sure to send you spinning. This ride is inspired from Alice in Wonderland from the Mad Hatter’s unhappy birthday party and one of Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom's first attractions when it first opened.

Enjoy wide, steady turns as you glide along or go on a wild, dizzying adventure that spins you madly round and round in circles. Each tea cup ride vehicle has a wheel in the center that lets you control how fast your cup spins. Make sure to get the adult in the group to help spin the cup faster for such a fun time. The tea cups spin on a platform and well as each individual cup. Because of the age group this ride caters to and how it is laid out, the ride does take a long time for loading and unloading. This makes the wait time longer, however this ride participates in Disney’s Magic Kingdom extra magic hour where the lines won’t be quite so long. Because the ride is covered it will stay open through most weather conditions.

If you're an Alice in Wonderland fan, she often does character meet and greets at the garden surrounding this attraction as well as the Mad Hatter, Tweedle Dee, Tweedle Dum, etc. The Mad Tea Party is a great backdrop for a souvenir photo.
