The EPCOT Theme Park is a favorite Disney World Theme Park for our family vacations.

The park is very spread out - very easy to get around to the different attractions.   From the EPCOT web site: Epcot®, which opened on October 1, 1982, covers 300 acres, and consists of two major areas: Future World and World Showcase.

Our family loves thrill rides, and you will find a multitude of them at Epcot.  Our favorites are Mission Space, Test Track, and Soarin'. 

We have visited Disney EPCOT Theme Park twice throughout the years.  Once when our children were fairly young, and once when our children were pre-teens.  Of course, there were different objectives to each of these visits, but we were able to find many things to do for each age group.  Our favorite attractions are listed below.

Illuminations, the nightly pyrotechnic extravaganza, was absolutely beautiful. Be sure to stay in the park for this experience.  All ages will love this.

Epcot has one of the best areas to meet and greet the characters.... At the Character Connection next to the Fountain View Cafe in Future World. 

Since we love to visit Disney, we want to visit more than just once, we have found that purchasing a ticket with multiple days on it (ie. a 7 day pass, or a 10 day pass) with the no expiration option will enable us to visit multiple for a much smaller price per day.  You can check out  Discount Disney World Tickets for all of the Disney Ticket options.

Mission Space Okay - we rode this one twice - one after the other.... It is a thrill.  This ultimate interactive thrill-packed adventure is as close as you can get to blasting off into space without leaving Earth.

Test Track You are the crash dummy on the test track in this thrill ride.  We could have ridden this ride over and over again.... a great family vacation attraction.

Soarin' This is without a doubt one of the best simulation rides I have ever been on... a must see.  This was not available when we were in the park with the younger children, but the pre-teens loved this attraction.

Honey, I Shrunk the Audience A really cute 3D attraction.  The dog even licks you.... and it is wet.  This attraction actually was a favorite for the young children and the pre-teens alike.
