For visitors that come from the north and south, they can make use of US 15. For those that come from the east and west then they can use US 30. There are shuttle buses that would carry visitors to the site and they would depart from the Gettysburg National Military Park Visitor Center. Because there is a lack of on-site parking due to space limit, visits are only possible through a shuttle bus. The Eisenhower National Historic Site would open at 8:00 a.m. while the very first scheduled shuttle would leave at 9:00 a.m. Tickets are available on a first come basis hence you may want to arrive early on the site so you can avail of the most comfortable seats.

In Eisenhower Historic Site, kids are given the opportunity to feel how would be like being a Secret Service agent. They will be taught with self-guided activities through the Junior Secret Service Agent Training Manual which is given for free to anyone visitor who falls under the age of 7-12.
