Traveling with children can be hard, however, if the children are entertained, the trip will go smoother.
Hand Held Games
Now days, most children have hand held games that they play all the time. This can be a great idea to keep the children occupied during a trip, but make sure you bring plenty of batteries. The great thing about hand held games is that you can get educational games for the hand-held systems.
Cards and Books
If you have more than one child or if you or you spouse are going to sit in the back with the child, buying a deck of cards to play card games. Also some stores sell books that contain different types of games like word searches, picture finds, hangman, and tic tac toe.
iPods
iPods are also a great item to bring on trips. Some ipods can play not only songs, but movies and games. Ipods can hold a large amount of music for everyone's likes, and can be programed with play list so they can select the songs they want to hear.
