Take a variety of clothes – party wear, holiday wear etc. Most of the cruises have good pubs, casinos and a cocktail party. So in order to dress up for the occasion you have to carry all types of clothes. Take your swim suits so that you can enjoy in the pool. Take woolen clothes and leather jackets for your kids because it would be cold during night and you can enjoy the open air party at night too.
If you are planning to travel to an island from the cruise through a boat make sure you carry enough disposable sea-sick bags. The vibrations of the rough sea cause sea-sickness. Don’t eat much before that type of travel. It is better not to travel on a small boat that way if you are with kids and spoil your holiday mood. The best thing would be to enjoy in the cruise, even if that means staying on board the ship.
Don’t take kids below the fourth deck as you can feel the vibration of the rough sea. Some kids may panic and some may have a stomach upset.
Take medicines and a first aid kit so that you can treat them in case they get hurt or they are not well.
Don’t make your kids try any new food that may spoil their holiday mood.
Make sure you carry your camera to record to happy moments. It is better to carry your driving license, passport and any identity proof wherever you go.
Teach your kids the plan of the cruise and the way to your cabins so that they can make their own way in case they are lost. Make it an interesting trip for your kids.
