Kid Friendly Disney Dining |
The Disney World Theme Park offers a multitude of kid friendly disney dining option from snacks, to counter service to "reservation required" sit down dining venues to dinner shows to specialized "character dining" venues..... you will never be bored, and never without a choice! And.... as we all know, no one can rival Disney when they decide to put on a show.....
The only problem is.... what is available, and how soon should you decide where you want to eat..... I am afraid that gone are the days of strolling through the parks, and then up and deciding .... hey, we want Chinese tonight, or wow, I wonder if we can get in to the German Restaurant in EPCOT tonight.... then making it happen. Did you know that you can actually make Disney Dining Reservations up to 180 days in advance..... and more and more people are taking advantage of that opportunity..... making the "Just In Time Dinner" a thing of the past.
A little knowledge can go a long way to making your Walt Disney Vacation one of the best that there is.....
Here are some of our family's most favorite Kid Friendly Disney Dining venues....
Dinner Shows.....
The Spirit of Aloha show at the Disney Polynesian Resort... this is a great show.... in an open air theater at the resort.... this resort is accessible on the monorail line....
Our family took in this show with our seven year old daughter... she loved the show.... we did have to make reservations in advance. As with everything Disney, the food was good, and there was plenty of it.....
Epcot Cuisine of Different Countries....
The past several times that we have visited Disney EPCOT, we have made it a point to make reservations at one of the sit-down restaurants in one of the countries of EPCOT..... these restaurants offer you a unique Disney dining experience offering cuisine from the various countries....
Biergarten Restaurant - German Pavilion - This restaurant offers a German buffet each afternoon and evening with German OktoberFest Entertainment... all family members will enjoy this unique kid friendly disney dining dinner and entertainment!
Bistro de Paris - French Pavilion - This restaurant was kid friendly in that it served some of the best desserts in EPCOT - but aren't french desserts some of the best in the world!
In addition to these "sit down" restaurants in EPCOT, we have visited the counter service in the China Pavilion, and in the Mexican Pavilion.
There are a multitude on restaurants in the Disney World Theme Parks.... if you are planning a trip to disney, I urge you to plan ahead.....
