The Kakuro puzzle, also known as Cross Sum, is a puzzle that resemble the crossword puzzle, but use numbers instead of words. The object is to fill all the blank squares in the grid with only the numbers 1-9 so that the numbers you enter add up to the corresponding clues. When the grid is filled, the puzzle is complete. Printable Sudoku Puzzles for Kids
Printable Sudoku Puzzles have a unique solution that can be reached logically without guessing. The puzzles are a great brain exercise for kids and adults alike. Numbers from 1 to 9 are entered in each horizontal, each diagonal, and each individual small square. It's a great puzzle for traveling.
Printable Mazes for Kids are great for family vacations travel time. They do not require a lot of deduction, and can be completed fairly quickly. The kid printable activity mazes included here in various shapes to give your kids a variety.
Fallen Phrase puzzles consist of a phrase that will fit into the white area of the grid. The letters for each column are listed below the column, not necessarily in the correct order. Through trial and error, the phrase will work itself out. This is a great puzzle for kids to work on individually while traveling.
