TripAdvisor is one of Kid-Friendly-Family-Vacation's most trusted travel destination review sites on the web for kid vacations planning. You will find links to their review pages on just about every page on the site.... but they also offer a unique tool to search hotel availability.
The great thing about this search tool, is that you will be offered a list of hotels in the city that you search, and you will be able to view all of the TripAdvisor reviews for that hotel also... the absolute best of both worlds.

Hotwire.com offers some of the best rates on hotels that I have seen on the internet. You can search near an airport, a city, or a street address.
The only drawback that I have seen is that you will not know the exact hotel that you are staying in until you actually book the room. This has caused us some problems in the past as we sometime like to book rooms with another family that we are traveling with.... but, if you are looking for one of the best deals around, try Hotwire.

Expedia.com prides themselves on being a full service vacation planning site. Expedia delivers everything needed for researching, planning, and purchasing a whole trip. Expedia offers the ability to save itenaries for future reference.
I have used expedia for planning business travel, and have been very pleased with the overall service provided.
