New York City with Teens

I took my son and his best friend on a trip to New York City to celebrate my son's 13th birthday. Here are some of the Kid Friendly things that we did in NYC....
Major League Baseball
We attended major league baseball games at both Yankee Stadium and Shea Stadium. The game at Shea was Mets vs. Yankees, which was the highlight of the trip. It was such a family friendly atmosphere! Our entire 3rd base section was hugging and high fiving each other by games end.
New York City Subway
The subway was a big hit with the boys. Maybe it was because we are from Florida (we do not have subways here). They loved the subway performers. I definitely got my money's worth from the 7 day passes I purchased.
Times Square
Time Square, at night specifically, had the boys complete attention. We didn't have to do anything special.... Just being in the midst of the crowds and the diversity was enough to keep them from wanting to do anything else in the evenings. They talked to anyone and everyone and enjoyed every minute of it. Did I mention these evenings cost nothing but the price of dinner and maybe a soda? (That was a highlight for me.)
I have to say that we will never forget our little vacation and New York City is a great place to take teens for vacation.
