Post It Notes

by Angela
(Orange County, CA)

Take a pack of post-it notes and a couple of crayons the next time you're going to travel on an airplane.

You can play a variety of games by putting a note or picture on a post-it and sticking it to them or a chair in an airport lounge.

When stuck in an airport once for 4 hours, I used post-its to draw different grocery items, then stuck them to chairs and had kids pretend to go "shopping". With older kids you can write names of colors, states, etc. or other imaginative things.
