Savannah Georgia - a Girl Scout's Special Place

My daughter and I have always thought Savannah Georgia was a beautiful place when we would see it in movies and on TV.

But... when we learned it was Juliette Gordon Low's birthplace, we just had to visit. My daughter is a Girl Scout, and so was I when I was a child. Since Savannah is the home of the founder of the Girl Scouts, we decided to go. We were so pleased to learn that my daughter could earn a special pin for her girl scout sash just by visiting there. And there is a discount for entry for Girl Scouts.

We also took the Old Town Trolley tour and stopped at the Savannah Candy Kitchen for some caramel covered apples. It was a delightful time with my daughter we will never forget.
