Surviving Disneyworld with Kids

I have always been a huge fan of Disneyworld and have visited it many times both as a kid and as an adult. But last year, when we decided to bring our 4-year-old son there, I was nervous that crying/screaming tantrums would overshadow the joy of his first trip. In order to make sure that our trip was enjoyable, we did the following things:
* We brought our own stroller with us. The walk even from the bus to the front gate was long, and this prevented us from having to wait in line to rent a stroller.
* We got to the parks as soon as they opened in the morning. Our son is an early riser anyway, and he was the most fresh in the morning. Not to mention the lines are always the shortest and we could grab some fast passes.
* We carried some snacks with us. If he got hungry while we were in line, it was easy to pull a snack out of my bag.
* We slowed down and spent some time playing in the fountains and playgrounds inside the parks. This proved to be a great thing to do during the afternoon when the lines were longest.
