Tips to make any family Beach Trip Easier

No Matter where you are going on your beach trip make sure you have read reviews of the beach before and know that it IS family friendly, and not a "party" spot. Nothing is worse than a beach littered with garbage, broken glass, or worse.
The next tip is Don't forget the sunscreen, it is easiest to apply it before you arrive at the beach.
Don't force your kids into the water. I know that it can be upsetting when you get to the beach if your kids don't want to go in, but nothing is worse than forcing them, let them decide when they are comfortable with entering the water. Make sure you bring things for kids to play with on the beach in the sand, so that even if they aren't sure about going into the water, they can still have a great time. Don't forget beach towels and a blanket along with some snacks. Check into umbrella or beach chair rental if you are traveling out of town, if they aren't available consider purchasing inexpensive chairs that don't have to travel on a plane.
It can be difficult to bring the necessary supplies to a beach when traveling with kids so consider going to a beach within driving distance of your house, or a relative or friends house so that you can have a home base for all of your stuff. If this seems impossible, look into beach rentals or condos in the area, although it might be a little more expensive, the extra room will definitely be worth it.
