Washington DC : Great for the Family

Our Family had a great time in Washington DC. We spent a very busy week enjoying the city.
We went to the zoo, my kids favorite. At the zoo we saw orangutans climbing on cables over head. We saw Elephants and pandas and tigers, too.
My favorite was the museum of natural history, although the hope diamond was a bit of a let down, there are some other impressive rocks in that room.
The kids also enjoyed the spy museum. I enjoyed the national portrait gallery. We all liked the horticultural museum.
Washington DC has much to offer a family vacation. Plan to walk a lot, but to really enjoy your trip.
